Has anyone built a script to use 2X AKAI APC40 MKII in parallel?
Hi, I am trying to maintain all clip launching functionality etc, but just assign individual MIDI CCs to the secondary APC, as otherwise the values there are duplicates on the faders etc.
I made a script that achieves this but once I load it, the APC functionality for clip launch etc (blue box around cells next to red box of first APC) is gone.
Is there a workaround or does anyone have a script that achieves two APC s next to each other where the cells can still be moved as one row of 16 across 5 down like in this screengrab with both the APCs in default mode?
Alternatively has someone already made a script for using two APC40MKII in parallel?

Currently attempting this with 2 APC Minis. I’m like 90% there but cant seem to get the pads to display the clips and their colors. Will upload if I can get it figured out.
You have to toggle “combination mode” on to get the squares to move together. Ableton can also distinguish the 2 controllers as seperate, even if in CSS they are acting as one controller.
To activate combination mode, turn combination mode on for BOTH scripts/midi controllers
