translate output meter levels to velocity numbers in real time

Hi,

I’m trying to map the output meter level from track 1 to the touch led strip of track 1 on my K-Mix audio interface/Ableton controller.

I can make the led strip go to a fixed velocity colour with a reaction when the output level of track 1 changes but i can’t get a moving level meter going that follows the output level of track 1 in real time.

The existing midi remote script written for the K-Mix does this already so I know it’s possible. But I would like to recreate this script in Remotify.

Does anybody here know how to do this?
