CSS v3 – chain device selection

With activated „Auto Select“ in a Ableton Live drum rack incoming MIDI notes (Launchpad Pro) auto select the playing chain/device in the drum slot.

Scripts generated with CSS version 3 prevent selecting another device while the drum rack is playing, the device selection always immediately jumps back to the actually played device in the drum rack.

So, it’s no more possible to manipulate another device while a drum rack is playing by an external sequencer.

This doesn’t happen if:
– the MIDI notes come from a MIDI clip
– I generate the same script with CSS 2.9
– deactivating all CSS scripts in Ableton control surface settings

How can I deactivate this behavior in the remote scripts and not by just deactivating the “auto select” function in Ableton Live drum rack ?

System: macOS 15.5, Ableton Live 12.1.11, CSS 2.9 / 3.0.1
