Beat repeat Dj rack

Can any body help me with a beat repeat rack. I would like to have 4 beat repeats in a rack all set to different values them I want to press and hold a button down to turn on the beat repeat then when I lift my finger the effect will turn off. Then map each unit to a different button. I’ve tried mapping two on off device mappings to each unit one is firing at 127 then off at 0 and the other firing at 0 then off at 127. This creates a fault then the script won’t work. Does anyone one have any ideas basically I want a 1/8, 1/16 , 1/24 and 1/32 repeat on 4 different buttons on my controller
