can’t browse to the remote script folder

hi, in settings I can’t browse to set the folder where are the remote scripts, on Mac, it is in the Ableton folder but when I clic browse I can t open the Ableton folder in the browser how can I set it please? the Mac don’t let access to the application folder via remotify!

Hi Ben,

Control Surface Studio will automatically set the location of the MIDI remote script folder. 
If for some reason this did not work or you need to change it manually,
you can save the MIDI Remote Script folder to your favourites, then you can select it in the browser…

Here’s how you can do it (on Mac)

1. In Finder, go to the Applications folder (or the folder where Ableton Live is located)

2. Right click the Ableton Live logo and select ‘show package contents’

3. Double click the ‘Contents’ folder and then double click ‘App Resources’

4. In the ‘App Resources’ folder, drag and drop the ‘MIDI Remote Scripts’ into your ‘Favourites’ sidebar

5. In Control Surface Studios, go to the settings and click the browse button for ‘MIDI Remote Script folder location’ 

6. You can now select the ‘MIDI Remote Script’ folder from your favourites and then click ‘open’
