Are modes like modifiers?

I’ve been trying different things different ways, and I love the flexibility this app allows.

That said, I *SUCK* at modifiers….but while I suck at implementing them, I know that editing code custom can allow one to have more than m1 to m20.

I’m able to make more than the 16 modes stated as the available limit, and if “sub modes” are possible; I’d like 16 each acting beneath 4, with those 4 global, allowing to switch to controlling a group of 16 after a button press, for a total of 69.

It’s feasible with how I manage things, but will that subgrouping method piss off Ableton?
