DEVICES: Relative controllers with option type targets using CSS track module
I was using the track module in CSS for device controller and it seems great
except
when a relative encoder is targeting an option type parameter eg eg8: eq band 1 on/off is tied by default to knob 4 in 8 knob bank, it turns the parameter off ok but doesnt allow it to turn back
Im using relative 2 compliment ie 1 = left, 127 = right, which under normal circumstances >64 = on, <64 =off
How is this managed so that a left = off, right turn = on?
Try changing the control type in the mapping’s control section to on/off and set the on/off values to match the left/right values of the encoder.
Hi, do you know what the min / max value of the list parameter is?
Yes the parameter mapping type will get these values and attempt to split them across the velocity values of your input (0 – 127).
