If CSS Is Running Slow: Read Comment #4 in Here!
Hello!
I am a brand new user (purchased today), been looking for something like this for years to make all of my mapping dreams come true!
I work in AV with Audio DSP’s all the time so I’m quite familiar with how builing logic systems like this works.
I seem to be having an issue with performance.. the app is VERY sluggish and I have to constantly wait before I do anything, in this instance I’m adding / configuring mappings.
I can’t get very far with the mappings, after a while the program seems to have had enough and present me with a full white screen. The only way to get rid of the white screen is to restart CSS and reenter my password.. which usually means I’ve lost my progress. It happens every 5-10 minutes.
System info attached – perhaps theres a visualc++ or python module needed that’s causing issues?
CPU load freezing my Mac. Unable to use the app at all at this point, even when my controller is unplugged so no MIDI stream into the log.
I’m at the point where I’m just going to uninstall. Only had the app 1 or 2 weeks. Gutted as this looked like a great product on paper.
I hardly managed to add 2 mappings so it wasn’t a huge template.
Any suggestions before I try one last reinstall? Thanks.
Hi, I disabled the log function in CSS and use the Terminal on macOS with: “tail -F path-to-the-log-file”.
Although it’s not that convenient as the built-in log at least it doesn’t freeze CSS.

I’m on PC WIN 11 I have the latest version of CCS. Right now i have 2 issues.
1. after a few min of use everything disappears and turns into a blank white window.
2. I’m trying to work on Behringer X touch mini script. After i saved it once I had no issue, after that if I load it up and made no modifications I’m getting a ,,Duplicate MIDI data combination (channel/type/value),, Form errors must be fixed before saving. The issue is only present on Encoder 1 (value 16) the other 8 encoders all on the same channel ( Value 17,18 etc.) has no issues.

Issues:
1. Cant remember password – need to type every time…
2. At some point i have White screen on app.. it appears randomly.. some time very often – sometimes not…
3. The device or device parameters specified small window in reaction section (with a finger pointer) – usually is to small to fit the content, so i can’t reach the latest parameters (track-device-chain-device-parameter)… solution is to add more empty actions or loop behind that action to be able to get into that window.
