Record multiple clip in the same track issue

Hello everyone,

I have a Nektar Pacer that I modified using the wonderful CSS tool. I use it for live looping, and I would like my Pacer, in combination with Ableton, to function as a large looper pedal. I’ve included a link to a diagram that explains which buttons do what, so you can understand my vision. My Nektar Pacer is 99% as I wanted it, which is SUPER COOL! HOWEVER, there’s still one small issue that I can’t seem to solve.

In essence, I want to be able to record multiple clips on the same track. For example, on Scene 1, track “guitar,” I want to record the chords for verse 1. Then, on Scene 2, record the chorus, and launch the scene whenever I want. The problem arises when, after recording the first clip on Scene 1, I navigate to Scene 2 for a blank clip and press record again. Instead of starting to record a new clip, it activates overdubs. Please take a look at the image called “issue.png.”

What I don’t understand is that the “Clean” function works very well and successfully erases precisely the clip indicated by the highlight and my session box, but not the record. Please help me. I hope I’ve been clear. Thank you for your attention. Peace.

P.S.: I’m including the link to the script and the explanatory diagram for my Pacer.
