Volume columns like launchpad
I would like to setup a mode/screen like the mixer mode on launchpad: Is this possible and some clues?
Yes this possible, what you would need to do is
1. create multiple volume mappings in CSS for a volume parameter in Live.
2. For each volume mapping, set both the ‘minimum’ and ‘maximum’ to the position which the volume parameter should move to when the you press the button on the controller (note: you can also double click on the max percentage value to change it to a normal input field and enter a specific value).
The reason for setting both to the same is so that the volume param stays at this position when you release the button/toggle it off.
So you could for example, have 3 buttons mappings for volume 1 in Ableton Live. These could set the volume to 20%, 75% and 80%.
