Ableton Live Folder not showing up in Explorer (program data folder)
Hey,
recently i moved from my mini mac to a custom build pc with a very customized windows to have super low latency.
so far everything works super smooth and i even managed to copy the json file inside abletons user library folder and it worked! but now i wanted to install remotify on the pc but my ableton live folder is not showing up the way it supposed to be.
i just have in my documents folder ableton wich contains just Factory Packs, Live Recordings and and User Library. That´s it!
And i guess thats why remotifys log tells me: Can’t obtain live set at this time
But the strange thing is everything works!
so it seems that my Program data folder is not showing up on explorer cause when i go on search for the live.exe file and make it show me the location in the explorer it´s there! so even my problem is not remotify related at first hand maybe someone has an idea how to set this up properly!

Hi , we think this is a small bug causing an error to be reported if there is no session box mapping added in your script.
Aside from the messages, it shouldn’t cause any problems – and you can prevent it from happening by adding a session box.
We will investigate the issue for fixing.
If it is running slower, first thing to do is open the error log and click ‘clear’. This should help.
Your work won’t be gone, if you go to your home directory > control surface studio. There are 2 folders, controller & script. They contain the json files for each of the scripts / controller templates that you have in your copy of CSS.
These can be imported back into CSS, however if they have somehow become corrupted then they still won’t show up.
This error is a bit strange, its saying that ‘Pads 1’ is missing a Midi Value, but the Pads input doesn’t require a midi value
“Script Generation Error. MIDI Value is missing for Controller Input Pads 1. Called by attach_it”
As you say you’ve been using the script for a while, I’m guessing that you created your controller template in an old version of CSS. Possibly, some old data is in the json file which is causing this error. I would recommend, deleting ‘Pads 1’ from your controller template and re-adding it again.
Oh and with regards to clip colour feedback, we will be working on some improvements (probably in reactions) which will give you the ability to utilise these.
