Can’t make sense of reactions… at all (also 1 more issue)

I’m using a Maschine Jam, got everything working nicely with a couple of exceptions.

1. I can’t seem to figure out how to send out notes to use in the drum rack. I’ve edited userconfiguration.txt and if I select this file as the controller mapping I can use the drum rack, but as soon as I active my remotify script that stops working. I’ve tried mapping the buttons I want to use as keys (no luck), midi info will come in and be shown with the midi indicator but nothing gets to the actual midi track. Kinda stumped there.

2. Reactions… I’ve read all the instructions 20 times over now and can’t make sense of any of it. Primarily what I’m trying to do is as follows:

I want the small pads on the Maschine Jam to let me switch between tracks, I end up with a lot of tracks in a lot of projects but I’d like to be able to jump around to various tracks using the buttons. I have this working fine, and the pad lights up when I move to that track or select the track with mouse.

The problem is, I want the LEDs to light up to show me how many tracks exist. ie if there are 12 tracks, the first 12 tracks will show up. Ideally I’d like these to be colour mapped but I get the sense this is a total nightmare, especially with the Maschine Jam.

Any time I add a reaction the script stops working, it’ll install to Ableton and appear in the menu, but it won’t activate, and I get errors in the ableton log that I saw in another post relate to reactions.

Also looking to make my undo/redo pads light up if those options are available. When I try this (which seems straight forward…) the script won’t even show up in Ableton.

Love the software anyway, using the pro version if that makes any different to all this.
