Is it possible to map a clip launch command to a midi controller button. i am using a midi fighter twister and have mapped scene highlight to the knobs, button would like to be able to launch and stop clips with the button on the same knob

Yes, there’s a clip launch and stop mapping option in the ‘session box’ mapping.

Or you can use a Reaction with the actions
clip start: live object model > clip (or clip slot) > fire
clip stop: live object model > track > stop all clips
