Create velocity output on the beat

Im investigating the possibilities of outputting different velocity values as a ‘metronome as I can use velocity to send brightness data to LEDS.

So for example on beat 1 output would be 25 beat 2 output would be 50 beat 3 output would be 75 and beat 4 output would be 100

I have looked for in CSS to see if I can get the bar/beat number directly and that isn’t possible. The only options I can get are ‘song time’ and ‘beat number’ or ‘SMPTE’ number.

The issue I need to solve is turning a continuously rising number (song time etc.) into a defined number between 1 and 4 in order to output the velocity numbers.
