Easy way to set up session box for scenes only

Hi
I have 2 modes on my controller whereby I want one of those modes dedicated to simply 8 scenes…so Im thinking of 2 session boxes with combo but Im gathering you cant use a session box widget without tracks?

Yes you can just add the visual session box without any tracks connected to it if you like.
