EWI 4000S

Anyone used remotify to pimp out their electronic wind instrument?

I currently use a Numark Orbit to switch Soft Synths in chains within an instrument rack in one track. I have up to 40 different instruments at the ready including some heavy duty Omnisphere sounds so it pretty CPU taxing. Still only get up to about 40 or 50% but not without glitches depending on sample rate.

It would be great to switch instruments from the EWI itself. But I wouldn’t have the LED reference I am used to on the orbit.

Thinking of using one of the ‘extra’ keys on the EWI as a shift key and then the notes themselves as a trigger. Ie Shift + A#3 triggers chain selector 1 which has Sop Sax and so on.
