faderport 8 and 16
Remotify advertise that it is working with the faderport 8 and 16 series. There are also some older topics that seems to indicate that it is.not working. I have a faderport 8 and i want to start making a script for it. So my quenstion is, will it work? Best regards
Have you tried making a script for it? what issues have encountered if you have?
Pitchbend is not currently supported at this time.
So does that mean that currently the faderport 8 and 16 are not supported?
I have never used a Faderport so unfamiliar with how they work,
if they are not capable of using MIDI CC / Note then our mapping types will not work with them at present.
Apparently there is a firmware update which allows for using MIDI CCs on the faders?

It appears there’s a ‘MIDI Mode’ available on the Faderport…

Hi Jhon, I know the midi mode but overlooked that in my thinking of building a script. I think indeed that this can be a route to build a nice script. I will look into this. Thanks!
So to make it complete. I did some testing. The situation is that Faderport in midi mode does not accept feedback. It is one way communication. So this makes pretty much useless. To be clear. This is a faderport issue, not a Remotify isseu. Best regards

I read a commit of you that pitcbend not is supported. And that pitcbend the value is for the fadermovement. At the same time I read advertisment for Remotify to make sceipts for the faderport. So before i put time in it i just like to know if itwill work, because i know there is some trail and error work to get things going working. But in the case it is impossible to get it work its i wane safe myself time of a dead end trail and error path
