General venting by a new user

Bought CSS to ue with midi twsiter.

Realised most of the youtube videos are using an older version of the software which had clear hierarchal arrangement.

Possibly like many users we just want to do simple stuff.. and these simple things seems to be unnecessarily complex with the new update.

like for example…adjust device parameters, move from one bank or parameters to the next.

Well, as there is no longer parameter banks, one has to go through a complex string of scripts to do just a basic operation.

And as most of the videos are based on the older version which makes me have to scroll to pages and pages of posts to figure this simple thing out.

Another example.. apc40mk2 dosnt care whether the parameter to be adjusted takes value from 0-1 or 0-127. It simple remaps it to the knob.

Not in CSS case.. one has to dig through ableton parameters, create complex listening operations, behavior relationships and so on. Advertised as “no coding experience needed” ?

And I work with complex softwares for my profession.
