Getting LEDs of mixer track buttons (mute, solo, arm) to update relative to session box

I want my device’s LEDs to reflect the correct status of the mixer buttons (mute, solo, arm). When I move the session box, I want the device to update the LEDs accordingly.

Fwiw, in this instance I’m using a korg nanokontrol2.

Is this possible? It seems like the basics of what you’d expect, but I can’t any mention of it. Please give me hope! thnx

okay figured it out, here it is for anyone else:

Korg Kontrol Editor:

LED Mode (top-right most button): set to “External”

Control Surface Studio:

Set each mixer buttons so “LED Feedback” = “send” and “controller input”.  The “Script Settings” should have “Global Feedback” set to “on”. You probably want the “mute” buttons to have their “LED Feedback” inverted too, so On:0 Off:127. The mixer buttons should be set to “toggle” across both C.S.S. and Kontrol Editor.

Also in Ableton > preferences/settings > MIDI
Ensure you have your MIDI controller selected in the ‘output’ menu or you won’t get any MIDI feedback
