How to reset parameters changed during performance?
In Ableton I am using a Sampler with 8 paramaters mapped.
These 8 parameters are controlled by 8 endless encoders on my Beatstep.
In the future it will get a lot more complicated – more knobs – this is a test setup.
My problem:
During a performance I tweak the parameters – then I want to reset them in order to “start fresh”.
I tried to do this with a Dummy-Clip in ableton which resets all parameters.
Unfortunately this does not work as expected.
Can anyone help me finding a simple way of resetting all parameters?

There was another Forum Post asking about the same thing (typically I can’t find it now).
What they asked for was a snapshot / reset functionality – click one button to take a snapshot of the params in their current position, click another button to reset to those settings.
This is possible, but would require some investigation.. unfortunately we shelved it since Ableton’s announcement of their new Macro Snapshot feature in Live 11. Check it out here: https://www.ableton.com/en/live/
