Ipad MIDI Controller Macro Feedback Data
Hi guys,
I just want to ask if a remotify script is able to send back Information to my Ipad Midi controller ? I’m using Touch OSC and want to see what parameter I am controlling when the Device is selected. For Example I’ve build a simple script that applies to the first eight macros of a selected device. I just want to see the parameter names under/over the MIDI slider like the on ableton push. If it’s possible but with another Ipad App just let me know how.

Hi Jon,
Currently only MIDI velocity values can be sent back to the connected controller (this should include an ipad also). But keep an eye out for Reactions version 2, you will be able to send raw midi / sysex which could be used to display text – you would need to check what is needed by the ipad app in order to display text.
