Is it possible for two rings on one controller?
Hey! I’m helping a friend with her DJ setup and I was wondering if it were at all possible to have a control surface script or two be assigned to the same controller and have two independently-movable rings. Each ring would ideally be able to move up and down the scenes so that each could be used to target different songs in two or more parallel tracks.
You would need to create 2 separate scripts in CSS and assign them both to the same midi controller in Ableton.
This would also require having 2 separate Controller Templates in CSS. Each template should contain only the inputs needed for each script, assign 1 Controller Template to 1 Script.
So for example, for the left deck on the midi controller, you would have 1 script (i.e. left deck script), and 1 Controller Template (i.e. left deck template).
Then the same for the right deck.
