Is there a way to edit original py script for Akai APC 40 MK II ?

When I want to import the script remotify says we can only import .json files.

I am only looking to edit the script to change the mixer sliders to go to only 85% that way they don’t overload Ableton master by boosting the volumes all the way up. I have been searching for this for years and think its a real blunder by Akai and Abelton to not have an option to limit the volume sliders to stop at zero db.

I know you can midi map using abeltons native midi mapping actions but this is tedious and ridiculous to be doing all the time.
