Jumping between sampler devices in the drum rack via midi triggering to select
Hello guys,
I will simplify what I am trying to do.
I created a drum rack that has 2 sampler devices in it. These 2 sampler devices: one holds multiple kick samples and the other one multiple snare samples in the zone section. I want to control the parameters of each sampler using CSS’s “device parameter” set to “selected”. However, for example, for controlling filter frequency, it is only possible to edit filter frequency when I manually select the kick sampler. The problem is this, I have to always manually select the sampler in the drum rack to alter the filter frequency. I want to alter the snare frequency on the fly.
Is there any option to select the device of whatever note is being triggered in the drum rack? For example the kick is on C2, and the snare is on D2, when I press C2 it will automatically select the kick sampler device that is in the C2 of the drum rack. This will allow us to control parameters on the fly.
Thank you for your help,
Best regards,
Hello guys, I solved part of it, here is the solution, make a reaction for each button C1 C+1 D1…, then assign the given reactions in the image. The table below the figure will correctly trigger C1 C+1 D1, the list follows the notes and the related “Chain number”. Only problem is I can select the sampler in the drum rack by pressing buttons on XONE K2 but I can’t trigger them as notes. All I want to do, for example I want to trigger C1 note and at the same time select sampler inside C1 in the drum rack. Could you help with that?
Thank you
