K2 led colours has me baffled

Hi guys I’ve read the manual and the conversion chart by A&H but I can’t seem to get my colours to change and I’m wondering if it’s locked because of the layer it’s on? Does anybody body have any experience with this.

It’s been a while since I’ve played with a K2 but I think you need to turn latching layers off, then you can send velocity 127 to butttons / LEDs set in the different latching layers of the K2 Controller Template.
