LED FEEDBACK IN SESSION BOX = LED BLINK DURING PLAYING

Hello everyone

I have a midi interface whose ledfeedback works in a basic way with single-color LEDs

Note ON = velocity 127 the LED lights up

Note OFF = velocity 0 the LED goes out

I configured a session box, the LED feedback works, the different functions that can be configured via the software

But what I would like to do is that when a clip in this box is playing that the corresponding LED starts flashing at the tempo for each clip currently playing

I understood that this was possible via reactions

How to do this ?

thank you in advance for your help

I don’t think it’s possible through CSS (I haven’t come across the feature) but I think it’s possible from within Ableton itself, although I have trouble finding a tutorial for it.

The gist of it is that you can send MIDI notes to your controller. Controller Buttons are linked to a certain Note, so “playing/activating” that Note should lighten up its corresponding button. You can then also use a Note’s Velocity to change LED color (if your Controller supports that).

I’ve seen a tutorial about it before, but I can’t seem to find it again.
