Mapping drum pads for the drum rack in Ableton

I need help mapping the drum pads on my Axiom 49 Classic to the drum rack in Ableton.

We don’t currently have mapping options for Drum pads, these can be setup using the user config (not related to CSS)

I am trying to setup the userconfig file for my Maschine MK3. I scoured the web looking for a template of some kind but had no luck. Does anybody have one or can tell me what I am doing wrong? It’s loading in Ableton.

I did find a work around by adjusting the notes in a template in Control Editor by Native Instruments. However, I would like to automap the encoders as well which can also be done by the userconfiguration.txt.

Never mind, I just realized CSC studio allows you to pre map encoders for when you load Ableton devices.

With my Samson Conspiracy, I found that if I didn’t map the pads to a session box on ONE mode – i.e. they were midi buttons, but with no mapping in CSS (I think it was the web app at that point, but it should still work) the user config would map the movable drum rack when I switched to that mode.

Of course I REALLY like the ability to play the 16 pads on the screen and if I move it – however I move it – the 16 drums change. eg, I have my V-Drums s AND two banks of 8 pads on my Motor 61 mapped to the 16 spot, so that whatever is showing in the visible rack is what you’re playing on the drum kit OR pads. This way I can scroll through 7 different drum kits (the top 3 and bottom row don’t scroll in a complete set, so I ignore those.
