Max volume on a track

If you hard-map a volume fader directly in Ableton Live, you can set the volume ceiling to 0dB. At the moment I put a -6dB utility on each track to prevent distortion when I use a remote script. Is it actually possible to limit the volume via a remote script, and could this feature possibly be added in the future?

It would be nice to just check a box that limits the volume to max 0dB.

Hi Stephan, yes in Control Surface Studio you can set your max and min volume range. So setting the max to 0db is simple enough.
