So, the demand is pretty clear. Incomyng midiSysEx messages support would be pretty awesome. To control anything, and to control listeners (to reactivate them via incoming message and not only by mode changing)

Yes, me too.

The LaunchControl sends a sysex message, when the user changes the user-mode (or back to factory mode).  That would be awesome.

I just had an idea:
Controller>bome_midi>remotify
If your controller sends sysexmidi, Bome can capture it and translate into other midi data.

This is just a workaround…

But to have an option remotify to handle sysexmidi would be much better!!

Hello Helem

I got your point 🙂

pretty interesting tool. That might be useful for other situations, too — like if you want to load a new set in Ableton with keystrokes or so.

Thanks

Yeah! Bome midi is powerfull!!!
My cases:
– I always route midi throu Bome cuz when devise lost connection – Ableton goes mad and sometimes can’t see it, but when device>Bome>Ableton it works flawlessly. If it lost connection – I can see it in Bome and reconnect easily
– midi programming for drums, when I hit pad harder I will get another midi note
– store data: when I use endless encoders with imaginando VS, Bome handles all 64 parameters so I can switch flawlessy
