Orange “generate in ableton live” button gone, can’t send any remote script css files

0

I’m not exactly sure why this has happened but the Orange button which says “generate script in Ableton Live” is now gone from my script editing screen, and no new CSS mappings are populating in my Ableton Live 12 -> Contents -> App Resources -> Midi Remote Scripts.

I’m not quite sure why this happened, if it was due to an Ableton update (currently running 12.2, but was also happening with 12.1.11), but basically I went into CSS to make some edits to a script and felt puzzled why there was no “send to ableton” option anymore.

I’ve checked and everything in my CSS Settings window seems to be correct, its routing to the correct “Ableton Live Application Location”, it’s finding the correct list of ableton live versions.

If there’s any insight into why this is happening it would be appreciated, Ive uploaded my settings and scripts / controllers JSON files.

Miraculously the orange generate button has returned!

No idea what caused that, and why it’s now returned, but it’s back… that’s a relief haha.

Hey, are you still experiencing this problem?
Try the following:
1. resize the App (increase the width) And expand the script manager width inside the app by moving the panel divider to the right (the vertical divider which separates the script manager and controller template panels)
2. Redownload CSS, delete current copy and replace with new one – your data is stored separately to the app so you won’t lose that.
