Rane MP2015 – 3 postion toggle switches
Hi, I bought this software to try and create a control surface template for a Rane MP2015 mixer. This mixer has a three position toggle switch on each channel, which allows you to select between the built-in low pass, band pass and high pass filters. The switch is midi mappable and each position the switches in generates an absolute velocity value. I can’t see any way of incorporating this in your control surface builder. There only seems to be options for buttons or toggle switches to have two values for on or off. I need to be able to use these switches to select between different effects and Ableton. I would like each position of the toggle switch to allow the sweep knob on each channel to control a parameter of the selected effect in Ableton.
Am I missing something? If so, please can you tell me how to do this?

Thanks for the reply. In the top position the velocity value is 0, middle is 86, bottom is 43. How do I input this information into the controller template? There only seems to be options for one value?

hmm those velocity settings make it difficult.
If it was 0 > 43 > 86 that would be usable as an absolute control rather than 0 > 86 > 43
In this case I would suggest creating a button input (on/off) for 2 of the values i.e. 0 and 86,
You could then attach 2 mappings to the button, but in one of the mappings use the ‘control override’ section to change the ‘on’ velocity value to 43
