Refresh Script on Mac Ableton 12

I just updated to 2.8.4 and I am on a Mac M3 Ableton 12.

Is it still the case that to register a script change I have to restart Ableton each time? Or do I have to download Ableton 10 and create my scripts there so I do not have to restart Ableton each time I make a change. I am recreating my scripts for CSS 2.8.4.
