Release midi ports

When I use remotify to create a script and then install and try it. My midi ports are not released. I have to shut down all Chrome processes and re-start chrome to get my midi port released back to my Ableton Live Application (windows 10). Is there a cleaner way to release the midy port from Remotify?

Hi sjcaldwell,

Are you saying that the ‘midi learn’ feature of Remotify is locking your midi ports?
As far as I’m aware, this only monitors the midi messages being sent to your computer. It shouldn’t require anything to be released.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Oh I see, this does sound like a problem then.
I’ll investigate asap, thanks for getting back to me with the details!
