RGB LED Feedback for Clip Colour

Hey guys,

I am working on getting RGB LED feedback functionality for Ableton Clips so that my Yaeltex Turn Controller behaves similarly to Ableton Push.

I have followed this tutorial (link) so far and have started to have some success.

https://remotify.io/community/question/how-display-ableton-track-colors-…

The tutorial is for ‘Track’ colours but I have managed to convert this infrastructure across so that it works with Clips instead of Tracks.

I now have LED feedback that reflects the Clip colour showed in Ableton – Happy Days.
The problem I have now is that these colours are reflected on my Yaeltex unit but they are only visual reflections and not functionality. I want to be able to press the pads to start the clip playback, and I also want the playback state to be reflected in the the LEDs – I would like them to be green or flashing when playing.

My solution to this problem was to use a session box and map the buttons from the session box onto the RGB pads, but as soon as I map the session box buttons the functionality of the RGB Feedback stops working: Initially it is okay, as I load a new template and change the colours everything appears normal, but as soon as I press play on a clip or click on another track the LED feedback disappears.

I have attached a few screenshots which show

1. current Script set up
2,3,4,5,6 Modifier m1 Parameters
7 Session Box Parameters (Not Functioning)

If anyone has expertise in CSS I would be willing to pay for online assistance/consultation as there are a few other niggles I need to iron out and it would be good to get them sorted quickly.

Ta for now,

R.
