SAVE???????

I do NOT understand HOW and WHEN things save in Control Surface Studio. I just spent 2 hours creating a map. I looked all over for a “Save” command or button, so I exited the program, hoping this would save it

ALL LOST.

I deleted the program. I cannot do things twice – that’s why I use a computer!

WHEN THE F^%$ IS IT SAVED???

You can always export your scripts to json files. If you lose a script stored in the application, you will always be able to restore (import) your scripts to the application using json files.
On Windows, CSS scripts saved in SystemRoot> user> username> Control Surface Studio> script

Sorry you lost so much work. I’ve been there myself with a different application. Since then a save or export option has been the first thing I look for.

With CSS I create something specific and name it with a version number. Export a .json to test it. If it doesn’t work, I keep tweaking the same version until it does. If it works, I up-issue the version and build on it.
