setting up Launchpad Pro3 with a new script

Hello everyone,

I need some help setting up a new script onto my Launchpad pro mk3.
I couldn’t find a template online, so I created my own (just a basic 8 x 8 grid), was able to save it and load it into Ableton. I’ve also did everything in the midi section of the Ableton, connected the script to input and output, etc.

I have absolutely no idea how to connect the script to launchpad pro mk3. If anyone was able to do so: 1. does the launchpad pro mk3 need to be in programmer mode? Do I need to match midi values (in CSS) to exact same midi notes of the programmer mode?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am truly desperate.
