“Track” not listed under available mappings – only “track selector” visible…

Hi there,

Brand new to remotify’s Control Surface Studio (2.6.3), so apologies in advance if my issue has an obvious fix. However, I’ve poked around and watched all applicable remotify video tutorials and I’m still coming up empty.

With that disclaimer out of the way…

I’m actually trying to work on a device, but can’t get to that, since I can’t get to a “track” mapping in the first place. I’ll attach a couple screenshots to show what I’m seeing.

In short, however, the problem I’m having is when I’m trying to add a mapping under “Mode 1” by click on the “+” a list of available mappings is displayed, but “track” is missing from the list. The closest I see is “track selector.” I did try to load that to see if “device” would pop up under “track selector” as an available mapping, but the closest available in that case appears to be “device selector.”

What am I missing?

Thanks in advance

Hello POTM,
Welcome to the Remotify community!

In short:
– Click the gear symbol (settings) of ‘Track Selector 1’
– Select at ‘Type’ a ‘track’ and the track ‘number’ you want to select or ‘selected’ if you want to use the highlighted
– Click the gear symbol (settings) of ‘Device Selector 1’
– Select the device ‘number’ or ‘selected’
– Click the “+”symbol of ‘Device Selector 1’ to choose your weapon of choice

Good luck!

Hi POTM,
That’s alright 😉

The screenshot shows me you are viewing the ‘Scripts’ page, you need to be on the ‘Controller Template’ page. Your error message calls it the ‘Controller Manager’. That is the button on top, far left (see screenshot)
Compare buttons 20 and 21 by select their gear symbol, they will probably have the same ‘MIDI Value’
