Automapping layers
Hello!:)
I’m an absolute noob and I would like to ask for assistance to set up layered macro automapping.
For instance, my controller would get automapped ( Xtouch mini / Midimix) to the first 8 macro on a device, then switch to the next set of 8 after a press of a button. Where do I need to start?

Thank you master! Seems like that I have the beginners bad luck, because nothing seems to work what we are workling on XD
1. The Mixify script works like a charm.
2. The test script you sent me still not working, i used a stanard insturent with 8 macros.
The sympthoms are, when I load up ableton with teh test script only button 14 is illuminated red, if i press the other then both becomes red, neither of them dimmed, besides that I don’t see anything happening at the bottom of Ableton where you usually see if values are changed. The good news is that I managed to log some errors, please find them attached.
3. If i open up CSS first, Ableton will highlight i my controller in orange and won’t control it (see screenshot attached.)
4. If I open Ableton first then CSS, from 7 out of 10 CSS will be sluggish, buggy or as soon as I touch my controller will dessapear into a white window.
So yeah, beginners curse.
