Hi hi

In the MackieControl script there is a MainDisplay.py for sending track names as sysex to the scribble strips on a control surface… can I do this with CSS?

Hi,

We don’t currently have any Sysex functionality in Control Surface Studio. Only MIDI Data can be sent to the Controller.

We don’t currently have any plans in the pipeline to add Sysex support.
I will add it to our development list but can’t promise anything at the moment.

it would be great to add sysex midi messages support, so using touchOSC would be much easier.

As i see – now we can send sysex messages, so we can send names.

Can you suggest a method to translate text names into sysex please?
