You can the ‘Reaction’ mapping type to send MIDI data to a controller when events happen on the selected track. i.e. selected track’s volume is moved, mute value is changed etc.
There’s no way to change this in the UI currently. You could change it directly in the script json file then it will stay the same each time you generate a new script. Or (as you mentioned), in the .py file but you;ll need to change it each time you generate the script.
We don’t have access to an M3 at the moment to test, so can’t say. Maybe download the M2 version and see if it works for you?
Hi, Hi, I’m working on a script which has 102 mappings and I haven’t hit a timeout as yet. However, I think there is a hard limit of 1.5 or 2 minutes of generation time before it hits a timeout.
…..best to take it up with them 🙂 Well, I will give it a try. Keep you informed. Dieter
Same question here, any info will be appreciated 🙂 Thanks
Is this possible through your software? in future upgrades? Or do you need in-depth knowledge of phyton so that Ableton can send the clip color information? Cordially

Hey John, I’m sorry but I don’t understand. your last explanation. I don’t want to find a specific track, I just want to select the grouped tracks inside the session box and ignore the hidden tracks that are in the groups. Like on the APC 40 mk2: wherever the session box is, you can just […]
Unfortunately that’s not currently possible.
